What are acoustic wall panels?

Acoustic wall panels are slatted MDF panels finished in a real wood veneer or matte colour, backed with sound-absorbing PET felt, designed to reduce echo and background noise while adding texture to a wall.

Do acoustic panels actually reduce noise?

Yes. The felt backing carries a Class A acoustic rating, meaning it genuinely absorbs sound rather than just looking the part — most noticeable in rooms with hard surfaces like glass, concrete or tile.

Can these panels be cut or curved to fit?

Yes. Panels are semi-rigid and can be trimmed with a fine-toothed handsaw, with the felt backing sliced using a sharp utility knife, and can flex gently to fit curved surfaces.

How are acoustic panels installed?

Panels can be bonded with Liquid Nails-style adhesive or fixed with 35mm x 3.5mm screws through the felt backing. Full steps are in the installation section above.

Can acoustic panels be used outdoors or in wet areas?

No. This range is designed for indoor use only and is not intended for bathrooms, wet areas or outdoor applications.
