Double curtains combine a sheer curtain and a blackout curtain on a double-track system, giving you flexible light control, daytime softness and stronger night privacy.
Should the sheer or blackout curtain sit at the front?
Both layouts are possible. Many contemporary interiors place the sheer toward the room for a softer daytime view, while other projects place the blackout at the front for stronger decorative impact. The preferred arrangement depends on the design and track system.
Are double curtains suitable for bedrooms?
Yes. Sheers provide daytime softness and privacy, while blackout curtains help reduce outside light and create a more comfortable sleeping environment.
Can I choose different fabrics for each room?
Yes. The whole-home Design Studio begins with a coordinated look, but each window can be customised independently before it is saved.
Can I configure my complete home in one project?
Yes. Choose the whole-home journey, plan your rooms and windows, then measure, customise and review every window in one project.
Can I buy curtains without tracks?
Yes. Curtains Only is available inside the Design Studio. Track colour, motorisation and bending options are removed when tracks are not required.
Are manual and motorised double tracks available?
Yes. Manual double tracks, motorised double tracks and motorised double tracks with LED are available, subject to the selected configuration.
What is the standard maximum online drop?
The standard online limit depends on the selected fabrics. The builder uses the lower supported maximum drop from the chosen sheer and blackout products and requests a custom quotation when the limit is exceeded.
Do you deliver double curtains Australia wide?
Yes. LUXWORLD supplies custom-made curtains and compatible track systems Australia wide, subject to packaging and freight limitations.
Is measurement and installation available in Perth?
Yes. LUXWORLD offers consultation, professional measurement and installation across selected Perth metro areas.
